Books to give away

My current project is to cull my book collection. I'm planning on having gotbooks.com pick up most of it (hopefully next week), but I have a couple of mini-libraries within the library, and I thought I would post about them in case anyone in my social network would like them. The catch is you have to come pick them up and you have to bring your own boxes (each collection being about two boxes-worth in size).

First collection: a shelf of disability-related books, perfect for the disability-related thesis,
Second collection: serious horror books, much film and literary criticism, some nonfiction on Clive Barker's work, some story collections, possibly a paranormal romance and an academic book on Kali.

What's the span of pub dates for the disability-related books? (I got pretty much everything until around 2004, and then I pulled back when my local library got ILL.)

Some of my books may go to 2005-6, not sure, but I pretty much stopped buying DS books after I completed my thesis, as I was pretty burned out for a while. I bought a copy of _Design Meets Disability_ by Graham Pullin (MIT Press, 2009), but I gave it to someone last night. There is a scan of it for proofreading on Bookshare, but somehow the person doing the scanning managed to almost completely leave out puncuation, which is not always easy to guess how to replace. I also have a copy of _Bodies in Commotion_, which may be 2004-5, not sure. I also have _Romantic Monsters_, which is about how the image of disability evolved during the Romantic period/Napoleonic wars in Britain, which is pretty interesting and not a tome.

Thanks for the inventory; I'm trending away from the litcrit stuff, even the un-tome-worthy.

Oh, and by the way, know you about Kobo.com? Canadian-based, platform-agnostic epublisher with 2 million titles, all in ePub.

Jesse, I am *so* sorry for forgetting that it was you who gave me that book to begin with! I've spent the week in a daze of wondering where many of these books came from, and coming to grips that I am definitely a book hoarder, because quite a number of these books must have been bought at least five or siz years ago and then squirreled away, never to see the light or my squirrely fingertips again.
