Anyone familiar with Gaelic?

I'm trying to find out how to pronounce the title "Dall," which was given to blind bards.

Is it like "doll" or should it rhyme with mall, or am I missing it entirely?

Chances are excellent it's nothing like English. Frex: Gràinne is pronounced GRAWn-yuh.

I bet there are Gaelic speakers at ReaderCon, though. (I promise I won't give this answer any more.)
