Those new eyes are so frickin' awesome!!!!

Among other things, the color difference is subtle enough that many people won't even see it; they'll just think, "Hmm, there's something out-of-the-ordinary about this person."

(Oh well, that doesn't represent much of a change.)

The "civilian Kes disguise" (aka Power Boston Haircut), on the other hand, was really pretty scary.

Thank you for the nice comments on my new eyes--I was wondering how much they contrasted, so it's good to know that they are in a similar color spectrum.

Good to know that if I ever really want to scare my friends I just need to straighten my hair and go corporate. It was an extremely windy day outside that day (we went from balmy 90 degree weather the day before down to the forites on the day I was out), so the straight and in-place look only lasted 'til I got outside--my hair is very responsive to the elements.
