My best/worst audio capthcha ever

I was attempting to create an account on a science fiction convention Web site and really felt I had hit the jackpot with the following audio captcha:

"screwy, and about as subtle as Sophie Tucker"

I felt one hundred percent certain I had heard and knew how to spell all the words.

I still failed to pass the human test.

Sometimes I think I am just a figment of LJ user alexx_kay's imagination.

That's a new weird in semiopathies. (I can never decode the ReCaptcha brand captchas due to slippery memory.)

Yes, you know of the con, but I think this is more than I am just unable to do these audio captchas for some reason. A lot of times it's that I don't find the words clear enough, but it could also be I wrote the phrase too correctly, as in added a comma, or perhaps "Sophie" is actually spelled Sophy"? I just never get these right.
