Sorry for all the posts today, but it hsould balance out when I am offline next week post-surgery. I am psyched because I just received a certificate from Bookshare.org for donating 50+ books to their collection
Dear Alicia,
We hope this message finds you well. As you know Bookshare has always harbored a deep gratitude for the tireless community of volunteers who have collectively helped grow its collection of accessible books. This year it is thrilled to be able to appreciate the individual contributions of some of its most prolific volunteers, through a special Milestones Award Program.
Bookshare has identified five milestone contributions and named each one after a prestigious book award. Starting from the Bookshare Caldecott Award ranging up to the Bookshare Nobel Prize, each award comes with a specially designed certificate signed by Benetech/Bookshare founder Jim Fruchterman.
We are pleased to announce that as someone who has submitted and/or proofread more than 50 books that are in the Bookshare Collection, you are one of our Bookshare Caldecott Prize winners! (Bookshare Caldecott Prize winners have submitted and/or proofread anywhere from 50 to 249 books in the Bookshare library).
Congratulations! We are sending you your certificate as an attachment to this email that can be downloaded and printed. The text on the certificate reads as follows: "The Bookshare Caldecott prize presented to - Alicia Verlager --- For your significant contribution of over 50 books to the collection and your commitment to our joint endeavor."
Your contribution of time, effort and skill has been truly remarkable, and all of us at Bookshare would like to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for all that you have done and so generously shared.
On behalf of the Bookshare Team, a resounding Thank You!
Warm regards,
