Cosmic rays: where do they come from, and how can they affect computers?

I am in love with this video, along with the idea that the universe itself introduces an element of chance into even a totally bug-free program.

Okay. That is cool.

I've been more wary of Veritsium's videos than I used to be, since he seems to have gotten more gee-whizsery about high tech stuff, bordering on boosterism for Elon Musk.

But I do love little reminders that I am a cosmic denizen of a cosmic universe, and I have a direct connections to the stars.

WELL THAT WAS Nifty!

The presenter has a soothing voice, and for several minutes I felt like I was actually understanding the presentation.

(As opposed to now it's "rays happen, things change, hard to predict.")
