I'm putting together a playlist of songs that I think could be interpreted as disability-positive songs, such as
Fucking Perfect by Pink
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdW5rei_5gI
I have two questions:
1. What songs would others suggest for this playlist?
and
2. I'm trying to find links to Youtube pages that claim they include lyrics with the music, but my screen reader is not finding lyrics on these pages: is there some sort of captioning happening that my screen reader is not finding? Because that would be ironic but totally predictable.

and
"Fucking Perfect" by Pink
I would be really appreciative, as I can't judge what kind of lyrics page I'm getting when I try to read the lyrics page.
Okay, I learned some stuff this afternoon.
Date: 2021-04-01 11:19 pm (UTC)I don't have any deep insight into this topic. I know there are a bunch of sites that host lyrics; my first try is always searching on YouTube itself for "song name" +"lyric video" then clicking through to visually sample for the artistic ones.
Artists increasingly put the lyrics in their own official videos, stashing them in the niche YouTubers call "the description." It’s the text portion after the video player and its associated "metrics" line (like/unlike/share/report) and before any comments. Default description has maybe 10 lines, so sighted users click a "show more" button to get to them.
Here's the official PINK version of Perfect, which has lyrics in the description:

The "show more" is the first control after the link "http://smarturl.it/PSpot?IQid=PFPP"
AZLyrics is a clean-looking site that permits corrections, but not analytical notations. I’m going to switch to using that instead of Genius.com. (Genius’ special sauce is commentary on the lyrics, which uses fancy Javascript and is probably annoying as hell. You can also get a 30-second sample of the song from Apple Music.)
AZ Lyrics search for "perfect pink" no quotes:
https://search.azlyrics.com/search.php?q=perfect+pink
Second item is 2. "Fuckin' Perfect" (from "Greatest Hits... So Far!!!" album) - Pink
For Blige & Bono:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MICMhMuY1zM
Has the lyrics in the description.

Is an essential and artless boring lyric video: a B&W photo of the two artists with centered white text (in Friz Quadrata) which changes every four measures. Susceptible to being DCMAed.
