Solved: why can't I access this article with Jaws?

Edited later: Someone suggested accessing this in Microsoft Edge using the Immersive Reader, and this solves the issue.

I thought it might be in an image format, but then shouldn't I be able to save the image and run it through Jaws Convenient OCR? I was recommended to this website by another blind person, but perhaps she's using VoiceOver on her iPhone to access it instead?
