This makes me love bats even more, which is good, because a friend and I recently took a trip to Salem, and I now own a pair of black leather hightops with both orange bat wings and spiderwebs on them.
Basically, this tweet was posted by a bat biologist who says high-speed film shows that bats crash into each other *all the time*.

It's a large band playing very minimally. Hornsby is playing a four-string dulcimer (held like a guitar, and strummed with a pick.) There's a full drum kit, and the bass player also has a tambourine-similar wooden stick with 4 pairs of tiny cymbals, and then the violin and a rhythm guitar.
