The Lift is partnering with the NFB and the autonomous vehicle company Aptive to provide self-driven rides for blind and low-vision passengers as part of a pilot program occurring in LA. There will be braille guides and accessible sensors and other technologies to inform blind passengers of their surroundings.

Paint me totally suspicious of Lyft's motives--do something nice for the blind to counter their critics.
