Suddenly this week I can't access MIT Technology Review articles with my screen reader. I asked Alexx what was going on, and he said it's a new popup format.

Not sure if others aren't seeing what I'm not seeing--I'm using Jaws with Chrome--but here is a sample

Yep, they're popping a new frame where you see the "read more" links--those are short takes, and they're free.

The "read full article" links open new windows, and also increment the TechReview paywall.

Fuckers--MIT knows how to do it right.

I enjoy a fine whine, and "those days" sometimes feel like those years.
