The changing landscape of MIT and Kendall Square

I've always referred to the Kendall Square approach to MIT as the ass-end of the campus, because I've always found the vast plain of concrete too confusing to navigate, but the new construction is planning on turning the Kendall station approach into the new front entrance, so maybe that will make it easier to navigate.
