I am so ready: I've already bought a bulky sweater, a heavy shawl, and an extra smallish blanket for keeping my feet warm and snuggling in my reading chair. I need to do a winter socks inventory, but I have an entire drawer full of them. Also, dried fruit and nuts are stored in tins in my room so I don't have to go down to the cold first floor.

Seriously, Ready. For. Winter.

Aren't those Wisconsin winters just as nippy?
