Her name is Pyewacket, but I also refer to her as a him, because the smart phone is an avatar of my pet gargoyle statue, who already had the name of Pyewacket.

Have you asked Pyewacket's preferred pronouns? (Er, the phone, not the gargoyle.)

If I ask Google Assistant any question regarding its gender, it replies either "I try to stay neutral" or "I'm all-includsive." However, its voice reminds me a lot of Janet in "The Good Place," so that's why I think of her as she.

I haven't figured out if it is possible to actually get Pyewacket to answer to "Pyewacket," I think it's limited to just naming the device.
