Somebody out there must be making Mardi Gras beads in the form of pink pussycats, I am quite certain of this, but it's difficult to find amidst all the porn (seriously, haven't these people heard of the "No costume is not a costume" rule?).
A friend of mine who is blind was very surprised recently to learn that pink pussy hats were in fact pink hats with cat ears; they had been picturing them as hats shaped like vulvas (and I think were a little disappointed to learn this was not so).
Me, too! I imagine it as a small almost flat folded hat, like a military GI
cap or an old-fashioned McDonald's paper hat, but with a single accordian
fold in the middle, and made in bright Georgia O'Keefe pink purple and
fuschia.

A friend who lived in New Orleans proudly displays some beads with dinosaurs in their car (7 dinos on a string of beads). Apparently you can order custom beads, but I don't know the lead time required, so it seems unlikely that there will be lots by Mardi Gras 2017 (Feb. 28th).
