As a kid, I loved mythology and folklore, and while attending UMass Boston, my metric for choosing classes was by authors who were D.E. (Dead Enough) as opposed to N.D. E. (Not Dead Enough), and I alllmost had a classics minor,--I managed to make Latin fulfil my language requirement--except UMass's minor for classics required you to take a Bible class, which I chose not to do, and I already had a communications minor, anyway.
Classics and myth still make up a large part of my library.
