which features a blind former professor who made a demonic deal, nonstandard contract, trading his eyes in order to be able to see ghosts so that he could avenge the deaths of his wife and daughter. Okay, I cheated, he isn't actually gay, but he does live in Dorchester, MA, the same city I live in.

How were your holidays? My landlord put on a flame-themed Christmas feast (I'm proud to say that that was my suggestion, and I sent him the title of a flame cookbook I found online), so it was pretty old-school Solstice around here.
Alexx and his dad gave me a fuzzy toy guitar, which is a gift IOU for a real guitar. Alexx's dad was recently in a car accident, and he is relatively okay, but he broke his leg, and his car was totaled, thus the IOU on the guitar, but that's okay, because I can walk around saying, "I have a fuzzy guitar!".
