it would be to include a button which the screen reader user can locate and click on, like the buttons labeled "Play" in this article

I think that this is about as much TV as I have watched in the past year, but love those accents! Who is the nice man who reprimands Seth MacFarlane with "That's what happens when you don't come to rehearsals?" I want a sound clip of just that sentence. Also, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss is awesome.

re: Flash: I don't see a button marked "play". There's a red button with the right-facing "play arrow" in the center of the Flash display. Video controls have changed in the last year or so: most of them have a "hot spot" in the center. Click once to play, again to pause, again to play et cetera. Sounds like this designer used the alt-text "Play" to label that central control. Which is cool! Cooler even would be the "play arrow" *plus* the word PLAY for those of us who don't know what the arrow means yet.

I'm thinking that "nice man" was spliced in: it was so perfectly timed! The writers were so starved for humor that they went for a silly mic rising out of the stage gag. Whoever, I bet it will be a ring tone near you next week.

D'you think that JLD and Amy Poehler had matching gags ready if Poehler won?
