Date: 2011-09-27 06:52 pm (UTC)In this context, I'd say that "trippy" could refer to either: causing a person to mistrust their senses, and feel like they are having a psychodelic trip, or being afraid that they would trip, walking over the floor. The latter was my reaction, and one reason my immediate thought was: "This is a Bad Idea for a floor design." I don't know about you, but when I enter a room, I like to be confident that the floor under me is actually flat and solid.
