It was great! The weather cooperate and the velvet dress was warm enough that I even stood outside by the door for a while and would occasioinally make menacing gestures with my axe and say things like, "Let's hear those 'Trick or treat' kidds!' " and there would be a chorus of "Trick or treat!".
Also, for some reason, the fog machine produced a far more enthusiastic amount of fog this time than it did during our test drive. Perhaps it knew it was Halloween? But, even after I retired and went up to the aerye on the thrid floor, I could smell the slight chemical smell of the fog (if you have ever attended a light show at an event, it's that smell--it reminds me of when I used to go to a local goth club).
