We live within two miles of two golf courses, which provides large bird habitat! We've got sandhill cranes -- their call reminds me of a creaky garage door hinge. We've got turkey vultures, which are huge raptors, but I've never heard a peep from them. And we've got lots of wild turkeys, but they just gobble like a very large drain finally emptying.
