The Diamond Age by Neal Stephenson was one of the first Audible audiobooks I ever ehard, maybe the first? on my PC, and it was so meta, having my computer read me a book about a book that read aloud to a little girl: it was one of the books I wrote about in my application to the media studies program at MIT when I was apply in 2003. Now I need to go find episodes of Dark Angel on Youtube.

...Dark Angel was a wonderfully weird show back in 2000–2002 about warrior clones escaping their makers, being a freak, and disability.
Highly dystopic Seattle swarms with cop-drones -- good thing the warrior clones can kill them easily.
