Digital Accessibility in Healthcare
Healthcare is in the midst of a massive shift to digital
Healthcare, like many other verticals, is rapidly transforming as the COVID-19 pandemic and external factors like new technologies, system enhancements, and pressure from organization-wide goals to provide cost-effective and time-efficient services reshape the industry.
What does this mean for accessibility program managers and stakeholders who need to ensure an accessible and inclusive experience for patients and employees?
Well, certainly that it is getting significantly more complicated.
Now is the time to take action before your organization becomes the target of a lawsuit. You need to be confident that you are taking strides to protect your organization while providing all people (regardless of ability) access to your digital content.

Date: 2020-11-11 05:23 pm (UTC)Hot damn that Paciello group info is on point.
I just went through an intake process that was massively inaccessible. The basic form was a PDF that had been screenshotted for deployment on a "secure" platform called DocuSign. They could have sent me a passworded fill-in PDF, but no.
