The good news: I've been stuffing my brain by memorizing more Jaws keyboard commands and updating my skills using other apps.
The bad news: at some point I accidentally turned on a Jaws sound effect that makes a slight buzzing sound to signify SOMETHING IMPORTANT, but I'm not sure what. It happens when I'm down arrowing through a document.
Now I'm really hoping I can manage to persuade MCB to give me a Jaws upgrade, because I don't think I am ever going to figure out what is making that weird noise.

Date: 2020-05-10 07:52 pm (UTC)I can't sense a pattern to whent he sound occurs, but I think I might have accidentally toggled something on in the settings center while I was trying to turn the virtual cursor setting back on. I remember doing something with the text analyzer....
Seriously, Jaws is as complicated as the computer system of a car at this point, and I'm still using version 18.
I would love a Jaws call-in show with the Cartalk show.

Date: 2020-05-14 05:05 pm (UTC)I think it was some sort of text analyzer alert, but I've upgraded to the new Jaws 2020, and I opted not to save the settings from my previous version, so the sound is no longer occurring.
