British Alexa works with National Health Service to give medical advice

I realize that some people are going to leap to the conclusion that this means that doctors will use this as an excuse to be even more delayed in getting back to a person but for any of us who have spent days just trying to get a piece of advice or description of symptoms or side effects, a reliable resource for quick answers to simple questions is a huge relief

I've used up my NYTimes views for the month. The press release makes it sound like Alexa is simply adding the NHS.uk search engine.

Oh, I gather from my British friends here on DW that the NHS doesn't need an excuse to put off people seeking care.
