The stories I hear from other PWD...waiting offices that don't have space for a wheelchair user? Boston Medical Center seems to vary widely according to how the dept. head prioritizes access... or not. Also, I spent an extra twenty minutes waiting for a return ride home because no one told the driver that I was blind so s/he needed to look for a person with a white cane. The driver was sitting double parked for twenty minutes before calling me.
