Most Canadian coins have animals, The dollar has a loon, the two dollar coin has a polar bear, the quarter has a caribou, and the nickle has a beaver. The exceptions are the penny, which we are phasing out, it has two maple leaves, and the dime, which has the schooner, The Bluenose on it.
