I originally bought this book because I wanted to read more Heraklitos, but yes, Epicurus is also one of my favorites. I wouldn't want to invite the Dog over to my house, but I do think it would be cool to hear social commentators with his sort of wit working the crowd in Harvard Square, or, no wait! guest hosting on something like "The Daily Show."
