October is
National Disability Employment Awareness Month
https://www.dol.gov/agencies/odep/initiatives/ndeam
and I wanted to make sure that everyone knew about the special Boston Accessibility Meetup that we have planned to mark this occasion. Our special guest include a number of great speakers, so if you've been thinking that you want to learn more about any aspect of accessibility, I encourage you to join us, and you don't have to be from the Boston, or Massachusetts, or even the U.S., to join, although you may be surprised to find out how much of the accessibility concepts and guidelines we still use today have their origins in standards that were developed here in the Boston area.
Note: I have very brief panelist bios and links after the link to the event page.
