Boston accessibility meetup group being revived

I wanted to let you know, a Harvard colleague and I are reactivating a local meetup group called Boston Accessibility (A11yBos) and we would like to invite any interested VIBUG members to join.

Those who read my posts for any amount of time know I love talking about how PWD are early adopters and adapters of technology, and how many PWD have actually invented a lot of the technology that gets used everyday by non-disabled people (touchscreen, anyone?), so I particularly enjoyed the article

In which universe do they keep the universal cables?

After years of searching, Alexx got me a Book Port Plus. Unfortunately, the box doesn't seem to contain a USB cable that fits the jack in the Book Port Plus itself.

I have a box of USB cable and adapters. Nothing fits.

This was not the plan I had for my day.
