Sep. 13th, 2012 07:43 amI experienced a momentary surge of excitement when I read the title of this new parody of _Fifty Shades of Gray_ called
_Fifty Shames of Earl Grey_
by Andrew Shaffer and Fanny Merkin; somehow I imagined it as being about a tea-drinking librarian who gets romantically involved with a wicked and witty writer with more than a passing resemblance to Orson Welles, and gets drawn into his world of crazy writers and meglomaniac publishers, while he indulges her naughty fantasies involving library ladders in the rare books stacks.
When oh when will someone write the classic erotic novel for bibliophiles?
