I am not a big fan of Facebook, I admit it, and one reason is that whenever I want to do anything on my Facebook page I seem to have to spend a lot of time making multiple clicks to get to a specific page and then spend more time cursing--uh, cursoring--around the page in order to locate the specific thing I want to do on the very busy page.
Today's task: go to the Facebook page for a soon-to-be-launched magazine on epublishing titled "Shelf Unbound" --it's Facebook page is for "Shelf Mag"-- and friend it so that I can get the premiere issue free, as mentioned in an article in Publishers Weekly.
Issue: the word "friend" does not appear on the Facebook page for Shelf Mag.
Question: Does clicking on the option for "Like" accomplish the same thing?
