I think there is a witticism in there, but I'm too sleep-depped to catch it. I stayed up too late reading, then I think I forgot to take my sleepy drugs and, by the time I remembered, it was already after midnight or possibly later (I try not to let any of my talking things tell me the time, because then I just brood about how much sleep I am not getting).
