yes, EASI is a leader ... and yet they feel snarking at texters is mandatory.

Yes, well, remember that many of these educators have their own biases, being both older and academics, so they tend to look down on anything so trivial as being part of a youth culture and participating in your social network. And they are trying to *help* kids with what's really important, which is what they say is important.

Did I ever mention the media studies study which found that the way kids really learn new technologies is by messing aroundwith non-school-related play?
