Yes, I was totally mistaken in attributing _Heart of Darkness_ to Jack London--it was a really bad arthritis day and really I need to learn to stick to simple sentences with lots of fact-checking if I am going to post on those days. For some reason, the Dreamwidth and LiveJournal interfaces only sometimes allow me to edit entries, so I am just going to have to be embarrassed forever.
